Dermalogica’s story dates back to 1983, when skin-therapist Jane Wurwand founded the IDI – the International Dermal Institute. A training and research facility, the IDI focused on driving professionalism and a results-led approach in the skin-care industry.

Three years later, Jane developed her own product line with a vision to promote skin health, not beauty. Truly revolutionary, this line did not contain common irritants and breakout-causing ingredients.
