Caudalie have at last released a regime for combination, blemish prone skin – Vinopure. Realising that breakouts aren’t confined to our teens, Caudalie have created a gentle and effective range with up to 99% natural ingredients. Gone are the days of harsh chemicals that leave your skin stripped, sore and miserable!

Tried & Tested – Caudalie Vinopure!

I’m a huge fan of Caudalie anyway, so was delighted to try this range and see if it could control my breakouts.

“It is estimated that 70% of women experience a complexion imbalance in adulthood (25 years and over) and up to 87% are affected by the problem in their daily life.”

The Purifying Toner is the first step of the regime. Just sweep over your face with a cotton pad after cleansing. It contains salicylic acid, a Beta Hydroxy Acid that gets right into your pores to lift away impurities that clog up the skin and cause blemishes.  It has a lovely fresh “green” scent and a hint of mint. Refreshing without leaving skin feeling tight.

The Blemish Control Serum is sure to be the hero of this range. It can be used it as an all over treatment or just dab on individual spots.  It reduces the production of sebum and I definitely felt that I wasn’t waking up to as many random little blemishes, along my chin and jawline.  It’s a lovely light gel texture and you really only need a couple of pumps for the entire face. This will last ages. I have used it most mornings and evenings for over a month and I’m not even half way through.

The Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid is the product I was most surprised by.  With Silica to help absorb excess oil, it leaves a nice mattifying effect that isn’t TOO flat and matte! And with the recent humid weather it really keeps the shine at bay. It’s a great primer for makeup, staying on much longer than I thought it would – bonus!

In Summary

The ingredients in the Vinopure range are just lovely, just what you would expect from Caudalie. Their signature organic grape water to soothe the skin, and a cocktail of their grape polyphenols with 6 organic essential oils (lavender, lemongrass, geranium, rosemary, lemon balm and peppermint) that work to form a barrier against the production of the P. acne bacteria, and sebum to reduce blemishes and inflammation.

I’ve really enjoyed using this range, and have seen a marked ( or unmarked!) improvement to my breakouts, now that it’s under control I will incorporate my  favourite Vinoperfect products into this new regime!
