Oily

Oily skin can often be the result of an overactive sebacious gland. Over-productive oil glands may clog pores and spread bacteria which can lead to breakouts, irritation and unwanted shine. Many skin treatments try to counteract the overactive oil gland by using harsh ingredients that dry the skin out and eliminate any trace of oil. This has proven to hinder the treatment as the oil glands will overproduce oil to make up for what been removed.
