When it comes to styling our tresses, we can always rely on ghd. This gorgeous glam wave style is perfect for giving your locks a bit of va-va-voom for a night on the town, here’s how to get the look.
Get the Glam Wave Look
Step One
Prep dry hair with ghd curl hold spray. The light and non-sticky spray will help create long-lasting style and contains the ghd heat protect system too!
Step Two
Dry in with ghd air, forming a deep side parting. The air has a professional strength with advanced ionic technology gives you that smooth, sleek finish.
Step Three
Take a horizontal section from ear to ear and split into four sections.
Step Four
Place ghd curve soft curl tong underneath a section and twist wrap the hair around the barrel, using the clamp to secure the ends. Hold for 5-8 seconds.
Step Five
Release the clamp and allow curl to fall into the cup of your hand, then hold for a few seconds to cool.
Step Six
Repeat technique throughout the hair, working up towards the parting. Ensure you’re always pointing the tong in the same direction.
Step Seven
Using a ghd brush, brush the hair back from the parting diagonally to the crown.
Step Eight
Gently push the hair upwards in indents of the waves. This should form a defined and smooth shape.
Step Nine
Brush the ends around the hand to give rounded curls and rich luxe ends.
Step Ten
Finish with ghd final shine spray.
