- Plug the curling tong into a suitable power outlet and slide the switch to the desired heat setting.
- Allow the tong to heat up for a few minutes; the indicator light will stop flashing once it reaches the set temperature.
- Divide dry hair into equal sections and comb through to remove any tangles.
- Press the lever to open the clip, place the end of a hair section around the barrel, and wind the hair up toward the roots.
- Hold for 5-10 seconds depending on hair type, then release the lever to slide the tong out.
- Allow curls to cool completely before styling, then turn off and unplug the device after use.
